Many Indonesian learners get confused between “bersih” and “bersihin.”
Even though they look similar, the meanings and functions are different.
1. BERSIH (adjective)
“Bersih” is an adjective that means clean.
You use it to describe something.

“Bersih” does not mean “to clean.”

2. BERSIHIN (verb, informal)

It comes from the base word bersih + the informal suffix -in, which creates a causative verb (to make something clean).
In formal Indonesian, the equivalent would be “membersihkan.”
