Masuk vs Masukin: What’s the Difference?

Although “masuk” and “masukin” look similar, the meanings and grammar functions are different.
Understanding the pattern helps learners use both correctly in daily conversation.

1. MASUK (verb: intransitive)

“Masuk” means to enterto go in, or to come in.
It is an intransitive verb, meaning it does not take a direct object.

You use masuk when something goes inside by itself or someone enters a place.

It comes from the base verb masuk + the informal suffix -in, which makes it causative:
